Frak So Say We All
Frak is a word invented by the writers of the Battlestar Galactica series. In the series it is used as an expletive and is equivalent to (well you can guess that for yourself). This type of offensive word replacement is known as a minced oath or pseudo-profanity or expletive-deletive.
In the original series it was spelled with an extra C or Frack but the latest incarnation it was changed to Frak because the producers wanted a four letter word.
Fans of the latest re imagined version of Battlestar Galactica use the term “Frak Party” for group viewings of episodes.
